Space Forge secured a launch on the UK's first domestic launch from Spaceport Cornwall in January 2023 for the ForgeSat-0 satellite.
This was the first satellite built by Space Forge and to be designed, developed and built entirely in Wales testing Space Forge's manufacturing processes and enabling us to grow and strengthen our supply chains. The mission was one of the first to acheive a licence under the UK's new licensing regime, allowing for considerable process development as well.
Although the rocket failed to reach orbit, there were significant learnings and developments for us, lessons which we have applied in subsequent missions
